The
first picture in the top left corner is the last picture taken of me,
the night of the accident. ten years have gone by and I can still recall
exactly what it felt like being in the hospital, hearing my cd player
play the same songs over and over again and even the smells. I am
thankful to be alive, I love my body and I love my life. I choose to
live as a survivor and not as a victim. I continue to learn things
about myself and my recovery every day. I could have never imagined my
life as it has been in the last ten years. I believe the ups and downs I
have experienced give me the opportunity to learn as well as an
opportunity to make a difference, and to change lives. I AM BLESSED
BEYOND MEASURE.
